Hands-on at director level
I write the prompts, read the traces, and ship the agent. Most people at this level stopped building years ago. I did not.

Seven roles over seven and a half years at IntelePeer, ending as Director of the AI Center of Excellence. I built the agentic AI framework, owned model governance, and shipped production voice agents myself. Before that, a decade running contact center and customer service operations at scale.
I write the prompts, read the traces, and ship the agent. Most people at this level stopped building years ago. I did not.
I found production workflows still running on stale models and made model currency an owned decision instead of an accident. I worked with our CISO on PCI handling and agent safety boundaries.
Seven supervisors, six team leads, and 120-plus advocates at a health plan serving 3.8 million members. A 200-seat contact center stood up from nothing. I have run operations, not just projects, and it shows up in how I scope AI work.
A daily thirty-minute AI call and weekly office hours, recorded and distributed, reaching more than forty people across functions. Format over ceremony. The goal was always to make the program not need me.
Multi-agent architectures for inbound use cases, and an agent taxonomy that matched agent type to use case.
ElevenLabs for speech, Deepgram for transcription, LiveKit for transport, GPT-4o underneath. Migrated customer implementations from GPT-3.5 to GPT-4o. Talk to a working example.
Drove an Azure Content Filter production issue up to Microsoft and got it resolved. Led incident response on a Deepgram ISP outage and shipped recording disclosure safeguards the same day.
Taught external partners agentic design and prompt engineering, with sandbox environments and VPN access they could actually develop against.
Built and run a print-on-demand apparel store on Cloudflare Pages with Stripe and Printify, plus the website and mobile app around it, AI features included. Written from scratch, unpaid, in production. The claim in the headline is not a posture.
Seven roles, four function changes.
Quality, contract, and vendor management for 1,000+ independent businesses, with direct oversight of 40 quality and escalation resources.
Stood up a 200-seat healthcare contact center from nothing. Onboarded 200+ employees through seven simultaneous training classes in five months.
3.8M members across Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial. Led seven supervisors, six team leads, and 120+ advocates across multiple sites. Consolidated the IVR from seven trees to two.
Built the quality assurance program, employee review process, and hiring process at Bankers Healthcare Group, cutting outsourced costs by $40,000 in six months.
Navy sonar technician before any of this. Six years spent listening to noise for a living, which is stranger preparation for voice AI than it sounds.
I build when nobody is paying me to. A fiber laser for engraving, a 3D printer, radio networks, a drone. The storefront and the app came out of the same habit.
Elected president of my HOA, which is less glamorous than it sounds and better operations training than most jobs. Founded a high school NJROTC booster club, handled the incorporation filings myself, and raised $15,000 to get the team to nationals.
Otherwise: Florida, family, and a bourbon collection I am unreasonably proud of. The correct answer is an old fashioned.
Best fit is a company where AI is the product or a core line of it, big enough to have real delivery problems and small enough that I get to own them. Healthcare, dental, contact center, and communications are where I have the most depth. Remote, based in Ocala, Florida, and comfortable traveling.
